Sosialisasi @ China House, George Town: Food + Drink. Shopping . Art + Theatre

China House ni letaknya in between of Beach Street & Victoria Street. Disebabkan kami pi pada malam minggu, tiada gambar yang cantik-cantik boleh dipersembahkan melainkan everything served on the table itself. Interior and exterior part of this outlet, foto-foto nya sangat menyedihkan. Full house. Susah nak capture siti situ sana sini.

The facade of Beach Street entrance

Menatang apa China House ni...? Tu..baca title... Food + Drink. Shopping. Art + Theatre.
Overall, if u asked me to conclude what is China House, I would say old and modern twist of "lepaking" corner. There is the Beach Street Bakery and Kopi C.Espresso next to each other.

Foto ehsan Lebai Google. Nak jugak tayang pastries line-up, foto I tak menjadi malam tu.

If you wander ahead, you'll reach the Reading Room where you can see all the books and cd's collection, I guess, for sale lah of course kan. And you can see a lot of crayon and paintings where kids can spend their time menconteng whatever it is. Big kids pun bleh..hehehe. After the Reading Room, you can find the outdoor space with greenery pokok pelam and pond! Berharaplah agar tiada nyamuk menggigit ya kalau datang waktu malam..hehe..tapi romantik lah here. Makcik Wani sempat lagi berbisik suruh capture itu lampu romantik. So, the space is called Courtyard Cafe. And at the end is the bar, The Canteen where u can enjoy the live band. Upstairs pulak ada art gallery. Tak naik pun. Terlalu ramai manusia di malam itu. I'll wait for next visit. Terpesona with the eclectic touch furniture and deco.

The bakery from Beach Street entrance

Sebab malam tu full-house, kami ditempatkan kat sini, dekat bakery area, where all the cakes, pastries nampak begitu lazat sekali. Bukan nampak saja..memang lazat pun. And the best part, don't worry pasal pastries tu semua. Ia dilabel dengan begitu telus which one contains alcohol and which one is not. And we're here because of the cake recommendations by Kak Mawar. Kak Mawar kenal a few malay cooks and waiters here..itu yang membuatkan kami confident ja mai sini.

Chocolate Orange

Definitely, I would pay another visit di suatu hari, weekday maybe just for the cakes & coffee. And...just to play with my drawing talent...ekekek. Lama tak melukis kannn, so sangat tak sabar nak melukis atas kertas putih with crayon provided by them on the table itu. Lukis orang lidi will do!

Banana Coconut Upside Down

When u order Machiato here, please don't expect it to be the same version of Starbucks' Machiato. Ingat ya kakya!

Those present that night.

This weekend nampaknya macam tiada program 'eat wind, wash eyes'..hehehehe. I ada program kelas memasak.

I'll update soon. Meanwhile..I'm wishing all the readers, selamat berhujung minggu. Take care yo!

Love,
Murni Alfathunnisa

XOXO :D

  9. The place looks 'cool'. For lepakinglah kan. Hehe.
